Our Story
A story in John's Gospel (ch. 4) inspired our church's name: when an outcast woman encounters Jesus along the way in her everyday life, she discovers more than she'd ever hoped.
We want everyone to experience Jesus as the Wellspring of Life in all their relationships: with God, with others, and with the world as it's meant to be.
We've been Refreshing, Sustaining, and Nourishing Faith, joyfully sharing Life with Jesus since 2009.
We're a community of people who are compassionate with vulnerabilities, patient for transformation, and collaborative in common good.
We're WELLSPRING
“Wellspring” is a name inspired by a story in the Bible, found in chapter 4 of the Gospel according to John. It’s a story about an outcast woman who encounters Jesus beside a well as she’s going about an everyday task of fetching water.
Through conversation, she discovers Jesus to be more than she'd ever hoped: the person who refreshes, sustains, and nourishes the trust, hope, and love that are, for the human soul, what physical water is to our bodies.
Meeting Jesus changed her life and made a difference for a town-full of people. Experiencing God’s love and acceptance transformed her inclination to hide herself from other people and to have courage to share a new kind of life with others, the life Jesus was sharing with her.
Our congregation hopes everyone can share in experiencing Jesus as the Wellspring of Life, the person who refreshes, sustains, and nourishes what matters most in our relationships with God, with others, and with the world as it's meant to be.

We're ANGLICAN
An Anglican way of being Christian is a Scripture-grounded, Sacrament-gathered, Spirit-guided, intentional way of life together with Jesus.
Scripture-grounded: The Bible shapes our daily prayer and weekly worship. God's written word provides everything necessary for salvation, leading us to Jesus, God's Word-Incarnate.
Sacrament-gathered: Baptism and Communion shape our lives in Jesus, revealing and empowering a way of living by grace through faith in all dimensions of everyday life.
Spirit-guided: God the Holy Spirit gives gifts, power, and guidance to everyone united in Jesus. By the Spirit, we're sent out to love and serve as faithful witnesses of Jesus.
Anglicanism brings together the authority of the Bible, the historic faith, and the beauty of structured prayer. It is rooted in tradition, yet contemporary in practice. It is united in substance, yet diverse in expression.
We are a global family living out our faith in local communities. We're committed to the truths expressed in the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Jerusalem Declaration.
We're a CHURCH
A “Church” was a community of people long before it was associated with the places they gathered. We believe that who we are together is more essential than where we gather or where we are from.
We’re together as a community who worships God together because of the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God our Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
We’re together as a community who seeks to grow in the character and actions we’ve experienced with Jesus.
Because we’ve experienced God as Compassionate with Vulnerabilities (see Psalm 103:10-14), we seek to be that way with others.
Because we experience God as Patient for our Transformation into Christ-like character (see 2 Peter 1:1-11), we seek to be that way with each other and with those who are new to the life of Jesus.
Because we experience God as Collaborative in Common Good, for us and for all people (see Romans 8:18-39), we seek to partner with people and organizations that bless the wellbeing of others.
